Latin Lover is David Rienau and producers Mark Kramer and Theo Werdin. One of the 80’s memorable electronic high energy projects that two of the tracks that made dance for move over and over – “Casanova Action” (1985) and “Laser Light” (1986). The synthesized rolling bass was the immediate draw to these energetic numbers and also the riffs caught the imagination of DJs and dancers. “Laser Light” is one of the pounding songs which helped to keep high energy music alive throughout the mid-80s and create a style that was imitated through the early 90’s.
I have taken the 12” version of “Laser Light” and reworked a new ReStructure Mix for a high energy take on the 80’s again. It works on some fast looping and a new familiar percussion track from a few years earlier. This one stays alive longer than expected.
