Ce Ce Peniston is soul/house/disco vocalist who took clubs hostage in 1991 with her hit “Finally” – produced by David Morales. This powerhouse track made the post-Top-10 Disco during its release and made Peniston a welcomed standard to playlists and dance floors everywhere. The staple became even more solid as it became one of the current pieces played in several films following its release. The outline is new found love and the excitement can be felt from start to finish thanks to Ce Ce killer vocal delivery where she makes and breaks her own “breaks”. A classic and now gold classic since I am sure many followers are still igniting each time they hear it played.
I have taken the original 2 vinyl 12” set and used each one by David Morales to recreate “Finally” again for this ReStructure Mix. A new rhythm track is laid out to catch the lite pieces that sift through the original rhythm track and some new placement is created.
