Soccer is a disco project from legendary producer Tony Valor and gives a full treatment of disco in the late 70s. From the 1979 self-titled project the track “Dancin’ Game” was released with the beautiful treatment that Valor created for the group. Emphasis on the percussion which made dance music for the time a rhythmic antidote and irresistible. The simple romantic tie in with dancing and romance tie the knot here for the outline which made disco music so successful. A dose of the energy of the late 70s delivered in a package that gives off the execution which hustle dancers favored.
I have taken the 12” version of “Dancin’ Game” and reworked the piece for a new ReStructure Mix. Taking pieces of disco classics and giving them a part in this remix are featured along with a few new break downs.
