Rollergirl is Nicole Safft a German Euro-house artist who along with her husband producer, Alex Christensen created the act that would release the single “Superstar” in 2000. The track is a bubbly and sexy number for the dance floor and makes the electronic production blush a few times. It is one of the fun-filled dance numbers of the time period and has a slight essence of “Barbie Girl” yet stands on its own merit. The trickling keyboards make an exciting and groovy rhythm which allows this dance number to take flight and also give Rollergirl a few moments of light hearted dedication. One of the millennium moments which mark another shift in dance floor music history.
I have taken the 12” versions of “Superstar” and combined several parts of each mix for this ReStructure Mix and disco roller fun. The emphasis on the cute and sexy vocal riffs are given their spot along with a few new decorations.
