REISSUE: “Cherry Pie” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Sade

REISSUE:  “Cherry Pie” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Sade

Sade is Sade Adu, Paul S. Denman, Andrew Hale and Stuart Matthewman – their first album titled “Diamond Life” from 1984 contained a unique blend of lounge rhythms and jazz funk which made them a continued band even through today. “Cherry Pie” is a track from the project which also became a standard for their playlists even though it never official was a single release. The rolling bass and rhythms make this one an infectious heartbreak tale which satisfies from start to finish. Along with Sade’s vocals this one is an absolute classic.

I have taken the album version of “Cherry Pie” and reapplied a new arrangement and ReStructure Mix formula to create a new arena for the song. It has a longer intro, new break and a nice fade for those who can’t get lost deep enough.
