REISSUE: "Love Fever" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Munich Machine

REISSUE: "Love Fever" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Munich Machine Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte lead the disco train with their classic productions from 1977 by Munich Machine - which consisted of a group of musicians from Munich, Germany who also backed artists like Donna Summer and Roberta Kelly. Their second LP from 1978 was "A Whiter Shade Of Pale" which contained a remake of the Procal Harum rock classic from 1967 done with Moroder's classic synthesizer and keyboard feel - a kind of robotic symphony. "Love Fever" was track which also fared well for play during this time - and my earliest recollection was the use of the synth piece for commercials and televised sports events. It is quite a pumping track. Vocals are performed by Chris Bennett (who is pictured in the cover ad) - Chris is still performing today and also accompanied Giorgio in an LP titled "Love's In You, Love's In Me" under the name Giorgio and Chris from 1978. I have ReStructured the piece and extended the intro with a collection of elements from the vocals and strings - it also contains a new bass-synth break that keep the moog synthesizer pumping along.
