ReStructure Mix Update (12/8/19) “Double Or Nothing” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Lani Hall

Lani Hall is a vocalist who began a recording career in the early 70’s. She is also the wife of Herb Alpert and also appeared in the band Sergio Mendes & Brazil ’66. Her 1979 album “Double Or Nothing” contained the title track which was released as a disco single and did fairly well for the time where an over saturation of dance music was pumping out of record labels. The piece is a nice sultry number where Lani exclaims that one night stands are not where she is coming from.

I have taken the 12” version of “Double Or Nothing” and created a new ReStructure Mix adding some new elements to give confidence to the track. The chorus is maintained in new segments to make this one as exciting as it was when released.
