REISSUE: “Superman” by C.K.B. – Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera
C.K.B. is a studio disco band produced by Luigi Ojival (Diva Gray and Oyster) from 1978 – the album “New York City Women” featured the single “Superman” which was a successful club record for many innovative disc jockeys. No resemblance to the “Superman” single by Celi Bee (later covered by Herbie Mann). I have taken the disco blast and place below it scenes from the 1980 sequel “Superman II” starring Christopher Reeve, Gene Hackman, Margot Kidder and Terence Stamp. The action is fast and full of adventure – which leads to the connection between the disco single and the film. The film was directed by Richard Lester Featuring scenes from “Superman II” – RENT THE DVD! Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera Produced by Ken Emmons
