ReStructure Mix Update (6/22/20) “No Way Out” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Doris Jones

Doris Jones is a vocalist who Ian Levine brought to the U.K.K. in the mid-70’s to record his sound which became a powerful vocal over his lush and orchestrated disco productions. This sound became a unique and identifiable edge for Levine as his vocalist always played to the hilt as the Broadway infused arrangements were always a sensation on dance floors. “No Way Out:” is the disco era of divas champion theme where love takes hold and never let’s goes and the song displays the emotion with a resonating emotion. It is released in 1977 and is one of the Levine and Fiachra Trench steps to their eventual mastering of the disco sound.

I have taken the 12” version of “No Way Out” and re-dramatized the piece in a new ReStructure Mix for a tribute to Levine and Trench. There is a longer intro and a few new breaks to piece out the song in a new way.
