ReStructure Mix Update (6/27/20) “Who Do You Love” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – THP

ReStructure Mix Update (6/27/20) “Who Do You Love” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – THP

THP is producers Willi Morrison and Ian Guenther, writer Bruce Ley along with conducting by Pete Pederson. The session group began as a project in 1976 titled “Early Riser” featuring a disco version of the Theme from the television show “S.W.A.T.” – covered by Rhythm Heritage more successfully that same year. The second and third projects from THP (Three Hats Productions) were more notable with the disco-pulsed “Two Hot For Love” and the four piece 40’s big band infused “Tender Is The Night”. The finale project from THP is “Good To Me” from 1979 which is a disco-popish dance extravaganza in the live band fusion meets disco engineering. “Who Do You Love” is the last track on the album which features vocalist Joyce Cobb. A wonderful closing to numbers which all bears a recognizable feature and the bluesy and soulful vocal by Cobb. THP pours all they have into this project and for one of the last full-on disco orchestrations and arrangements make this a memorable listening and dance experience.

I have taken the album version of “Who Do You Love” and reworked the keyboards and funk-driven bass guitars into a new ReStructure Mix. I admire the original arrangements of all Three Hats Productions (THP) and only focused on creating a new blend of edits to give the music a new feel.
