ReStructure Mix Update (2/16/21) “Love and Fantasy” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Eskimo

Eskimo is an Italo-disco project from producers Mauro Farina, Giuliano Crivellente and Florian Fadinger. This trio transformed the Italo-disco sound into a high energy feel with many of their releases during the late 80’s and early 90’s. “Love and Fantasy” is their 1990 release on Asia Records and displays the vibrant energy which became the rolling sound of disco and high energy with a lighter edge. The vocals by Antonella Melone and Daniela Rando are reminiscent of the early 80’s Italian productions by Fun Fun and Chip Chip – however their harmonies create a unique sound which works well with the wind up energy number. This is the execution of both worlds where dance music takes us to another world.

I have taken the 12” vocal, dub and bonus beats to create a new version for this ReStructure Mix. A longer play with the chorus and an added beat track from the Dazz Band give this new edge more of a breakdown on energy.
