REISSUE: "Remone” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Kocky

REISSUE: "Remone” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Kocky Kocky is B.J. Watkins, Eddie Watkins Jr., Greg Moore and Gregg Field. Their album “Post No Bills” from 1979 is reminiscent of the disco band Machine in where the title track is a focus on the social injustice laid upon those less fortunate. Horns are provided by Arthur G. Wright on this project. “Remone” is the dance single that was also released as a 12” single and was quite popular at the end of the disco era with deejay and clubs working to keep the disco sound alive during a period where many releases saturated the market. The song has a percussion track which helps motivate the energy and a great vocal by B.J.. I have taken the 12” single and worked this ReStructure Mix to pull more out of the fantastic arrangement which includes disco strings. I added a few more spots for a breakdown and build of the energy.
