Lime is one of the lasting flavors of disco/dance history. Denis Lepage and Denyse Lepage brought to the dance floor a more simplistic edge with plenty of percussion and colorful riffs to make their style memorable and lasting. “Take My Heart Away” is from their 1991 project titled “Caroline” and gives off a sensible energy that Lime is known for – but also displays the longevity of Denis Lepage genius with a full on electronic arrangement as he always applied in his work.
I have taken the album version of “Take My Heart Away” and given homage to the Lime sound in this ReStructure Mix. A new bass beat is added to pound out the energy and a riff from a Lime classic added to bring us back home again.
