ReStructure Mix Update (8/17/22): “Age Of Reason” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – John Farnham

John Farnham is an Australian singer whose recording career began in 1968 and became a best-selling single in 1960. His career continued through 2001 - including duets with Olivia Newton-John. In 1988 his project titled “Age Of Reason” brought an anthem-like dance track which became an underground classic in many clubs. This piece is one of the powerful crossover recordings for the dance floor and stays powerful from start to finish. The yearning for a movement of understanding for humanity and a time where peace and serenity is necessary are one that ring true throughout time and even more so that this lesson gives us a challenge to use of minds along with our hearts. The production id from Ross Frazer and plays out in a several moving crescendos and a wonderful cool down into the rhythm tracks.

I have taken the 12” version of “Age Of Reason” and played tribute to the dance hall classic in this ReStructure Mix.  New intro and several inserts to remind us of the power behind this song are expressed with love and the need to remind us of the reason for this need.
