Mission Control is a deep house project from Aldo Hernandez and Ralph Falcon. An outline of underground themes and releases for the 90’s dance floor. Their 1990 release “Outta Limits” is quite a trippy number which uses samples from Dr. Timothy Leary’s lecture on acid – “Turn On, Tune In, Drop Out”. Pieces are placed in a weaving and hypnotic blend of deep mystical places where your imagination is more important than your feet. It is one of my favorite after-hours pieces and gives a descriptive outline on what is to happen in those early morning hours with hardcore music.
I have taken the original 12” version along with the domestic US remixes and blended pieces of “Outta Limits” in this ReStructure Mix. There is still that mystique but in this remix centered more for the rhythmic identity.
