ReStructure Mix Update (2/10/26): ”Radio Bostich” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Voyou

Voyou is a German ensemble featuring Andy Düx, Thomas Althen and Udo Niebergall - the trio creates a heavy sound using industrial dance influences and detonating EQ to bring the power of their creative riffs alive. In 1987 their first single titled “Houseman” was an instant success in the underground dance circuit and those who like to venture deeper into rhythm. “Radio Bostich” from 1988 and was written by MCL’s Alexander Henninger and also provided the mix. There are great parts to Henniger’s techniques where he will take the most unusual riffs and sounds to place amongst his steel sounds. As he created “New York” by MCL it is evident that New Beat influence and industrial parts are used to move his sometimes airy music atmospheres. Here he takes “Radio Bostich” and strips it down to its core.

I have taken the 12” versions of “Radio Bostich” and used the powerful elements to reassemble this ReStructure Mix. The tight sounds in the aura of industrial still play out in an experiential way and though the song brings itself its own energy there is plenty of New Beat magic sprinkled.
