C.O.D. is a disco project from Joe Falsia and released on Casablanca Records in 1979. “Tears” is the album title and features two underground disco pieces in my keepsake: “Night Rider” which is an instrumental with a wicked guitar riff in the winding tradition of classic disco instrumentals. “(Putting My) Heart On The Line” is a heart wrenching take on the all forgiving moments in a failing relationship where all was given but none was the prize. The vocal by Bobby Ray is another disco-pop edged part of this flowing track and leaves several classic moments there to dance in awe.
I have taken the short album version of “(Putting My) Heart On The Line” and transformed it into an early morning trance dance piece for this ReStructure Mix. More of the wonderful breakdowns I have featured and also offered a way out of the emotion in a fading exit.
