Chant is a techno/ambient project from Italian DJ/producer Giuseppe Troccoli. “Sweet Images” is his 1999 single - produced by Marco Dalle Luche. This powerful trance piece is one of the great techno/ambient singles which saturates all of the energy and resonance in this genre of dance music. A celtic feel with a touch of the magnetic edge that ambient music is best known for with a build that encompasses the momentum of an anthem. “Sweet Images” incorporates a vocoder on the main vocal placing it in an arena which sounds like a place of worship with autotone qualities. Indeed one of the fantasy-dance numbers of its time with plenty of energy to give it a nice crossover for peak time.
I have taken the 12” versions of “Sweet Images” and directed the ambient energy for this new ReStructure Mix. More of the excitement opens this new arrangement with more of the components which make this one a classic alternative dance track.
