ReStructure Mix Update (5/10/22): “Help! Help!” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Gilla

Gilla (Gisela Wuchinger) is an Australian singer whose recording career began in the mid-70s and through 1980. Her 1976 dance track “Help! Help!” is a hard hitting rocked edged piece produced by Frank Farian. This one uses a filtered percussion track which makes the mind bend along with it wavering sounds. The vocal by Ms. Gilla is a nice hard hitting and defiant piece for this disco number and makes the track more memorable.

I have taken the 12” version of “Help! Help!” and resurfaced those filtered bongos for a new ReStructure Mix. There is a lot of power in the original and the new swing funk drums pound out more of it energy.
