ReStructure Mix Update (5/16/22): “Send Your Love” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Sharon Redd

Sharon Redd took dance floors prisoner from the start of her career on dance floors – her performance with Front Page on the track; “Love Insurance” is a masterpiece. Her solo career began with open arms and her music became a sound which moved dance floors into a new era of dance music. “Send Your Love” is from Sharon’s project from 1982 produced by Eric Matthew and Daryl Payne. A love letter in this song plays out in a plea for a love connection and works with that New York funk sound of the 80’s.

I have taken the album version of “Send Your Love” and rewired the song for this ReStructure Mix. New bongos and a few samples from a disco classic are sprinkled on the remix.
