“The Year Of The Cat” by Ebony – Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera
Ebony is a Euro-house project from Toni Ten and Xasqui Ten – and features a house diva vocal over a cover of Al Stewart’s 1976 classic, “The Year Of The Cat”. Another take on the pumping house sound with an outline that is familiar yet the vocals make it powerful all over again.
I have taken the 1942 horror/fantasy film “Cat People” starring Simone Simon and Kent Smith into this feline house music drama and used the essence of the mystery for this Disco Video Mix.
The film was directed by Jacques Tourneur
