ReStructure Mix Update (4/15/19) “Coming From The Dark” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Gary

Gary is a new beat styled piece from K Productions – a group who began releasing alternative electronic dance singles in the late 80’s. It was the impact of the New Beat sound which came from the industrial side of dance music along with an edge that was raw and at times more of a dub excursion. A deep focus on the EQ of each synthesizer was also a trait in this genre. “Coming From The Dark” is a mysterious track that follows the house influence with a piano pounding in the distance of many deep bass keyboards and sequencers. This deep dark underground feel is the heart and soul of what Belgium Beat was all about. It is one of the hardcore pieces which would work on my dance floor afterhours or during a New Beat set.

I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental to recreate again “Coming From The Dark” in the ReStructure Mix vein. It has a few added effects and drum fills to accent the rolling and ominous sound and also plays out a bit more break wise.
