REISSUE: "Running Away" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Roy Ayers Ubiquity

In 1977 Roy Ayers created the "Lifeline" project. Using his talent to create along the lines of disco trends of the time he made his music apart of the scene without compromising his unique sound.

"Running Away" is considered today a classic of it's own sound. With vocals provided by Dee Dee Bridgewater, Edwin Birdsong and Sylvia Cox this track has the soulful edge of crossover dance music of the mid-70's. It truly emphasises music with an appeal for more than one audience.

I have taken "Running Away" and given it several areas where a beat pulls more from the main track. This is truly a gift from Mr. Ayers to the music world.

Dedicated to Mr. Ayers and his master talent.
