Midnight Rhythm is a vintage disco ensemble created by Joe Long and Robby Adcock. Their 1978 album “Midnight Rhythm” was a blockbuster release with a sound that was a new phase for the disco era. Featuring the track “Workin' & Slavin' (I Need Love)” which played out with such a momentum it may have been the earliest hint of high energy on the disco floor. The three track project is one memorable sound for discophiles who keep disco alive by cheering on the classic as this one.

I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental and recreated a new ReStructure Mix for this classic and worked a new “Workin' & Slavin' (I Need Love)” sound. The rhythm and lead guitars still intact and the groove as heavy as ever.

This ReStructure Mix is dedicated to Mr. Ramon A. Sandoval who worked on this monster during the building blocks of disco music.
