ReStructure Mix Update (12/3/19) “Crazy Love” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Alton McClain & Destiny

Alton McClain & Destiny is a trio from 1978 and features Alton McClain, D'Marie Warren and Robyrda Stiger. Their first project featured the big dance hit, “It Must Be Love” – produced by Frank Wilson (Four Tops, Diana Ross, Eddie Kendricks, Cheryl Barnes, Lenny Williams). “Crazy Love” is the second single from the project and displays a soulful harmony representing a romance which defies the rules of love and celebrates in the moment. It is one of the uplifting numbers which I have always admired and one which many find a milestone for this trio.

I have taken the 12” version of “Crazy Love” which was remixed by Jim Burgess and in his monumental style. I have taken the bongo tracks and a few new samples to enhance this ReStructure Mix for a new experience. The beautiful strings play an important and extended play here.
