Betsy Cook is a British artist who released her album “The Girl Who Ate Herself” in 1992 – co-produced by Bruce Woolley. The single “Love Is The Groove” is a hypnotic and transcending song that outlines the lyrics which enlighten us on love in our lives and how it creates a peace of mind among our worlds. This one was an after-hours feast for me as I always desired programming for the atheistic edge of a program. This dance adventure into the soul is close to a lighter flight into “The Hills Of Kat Mandu” by Tantra. Betsy Cook renames the world here with hope, rhythm and energy.

I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental versions of “Love Is The Groove” and reweaved a ReStructure Mix creating a new flow from beginning to end. More of the tambura and percussion are used to guide us through the message and the mystical feel.
