REISSUE: “Don’t You Want To (Feel It For Yourself)” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Stacy Lattisaw Stacy Lattisaw is the answer to 80’s retro funk! Her music in the early 80’s sound was the will of producer Narada Michael Walden (“I Don’t Want Nobody Else (To Dance With You)”, “Tonight I’m Alright”) along with Stacy’s sweet child-like vocal are irresistible. “Don’t You Want To Feel It (For Yourself)” is a track from the 1980 album “Let Me Be Your Angel” and has some fantastic hooks and vocals from Lattisaw and Narada. It was one of the pieces I would play as an alternative to the huge hits “Dynamite” and “Jump To The Beat” from the same project. I have taken the album version of “Don’t You Want To Feel It (For Yourself)” and worked a new ReStructure Mix for an old-school homage which amended the disco legacy in the early 80s.
