REISSUE: “Hot Sun On Video” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Venus Venus is a German disco ensemble produced by Tony Hendrik and Karin Hartmann. Their 1985 single “Hot Sun On Video:” is an 80’s Euro-dance track which follows the period home video explosion and the trend of creating dance music which followed the trend of video bars and clubs in this outline. The mainframe here is the formulation of high energy music and the force behind the electronic production. The mid-80’s took the lead on this type of dance number and made the sound complete. Vocals are enticing and a bit erotic here which leads from the disco sound of the seventies. I have taken the 12” version “Hot Sun On Video” and reedited a ReStructure Mix using the keyboards and beats as the reference to a new excitement. This one heats up and then pours it on heavily. A salute to the German dance innovation of the early 80’s.
