REISSUE: "Sia Sioù (Breakin' Up) - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Esavu Esavu is an Italo-disco project from Paolo Granelli. One of the tracks from this genre of music which relayed the sound which the 80’s took note of on many dance floors. The rolling synthesizers which brought the electronic sound of disco alive following the footsteps of Giorgio Moroder and his genius. Their first release “Sia-Sioù (Breakin' Up)” is an odd piece that flows infectiously to the mind and feet. Lots of lyrical riffs and the statements that keyboards and synthesizers made which marked dance history. One of those Italian singles which to me always looked forward to blending into one of those intense sets. I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental of “Sia-Sioù (Breakin' Up)” and worked with the pieces of this track to recreate the magic of Italo-disco in this ReStructure Mix. The elements that are important to the song are left intact and used in new ways to play out this nice melody over again.
