WHAM! are George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley who made a big splash in the early 80’s with their blend of pop-dance tracks and stage performances. “Club Tropicana” comes from their 1983 project “Fantastic” – produced by George Michael and Steve Brown. This Calypso-feel dance number blares out like a Carnival celebration with its percussion driven rhythms and hot vocal stimulation. It is one of their memorable numbers and keeps the magic of WHAM! alive today.
I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental of “Club Tropicana” and re-assembled a ReStructure Mix which not only extends parts of the dreamy melodies but also adds a couple of new breaks to give the party a lasting feel.
