Bill Fredricks is a soul vocalist from an ensemble titled The Drifters and his career eventually lead him through the 70’s and 80’s dance movement where he recorded a cover of the Lou Rawls Philly classic of “You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine”. This dance cover was produced by Jerry McCabe (Viola Wills) and Nick Straker. More of an homage to the track in a simple of sincerity of delivering this beauty back to the dance floor in the 80’s manner. Bill leads into a nice warm vocal and leaves one wanting more of his own style in the timely cover.
I have taken the 12” version of Bill Fredricks' cover of “You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine” and rewired the track for a new ReStructure Mix. There are parts of the original instrumental placed to bring back the feeling in some segments and more of Bill’s wonderful simplistic take on this classic.
