Peter Brown has made a mark in dance music history as one of the multi-talented musicians and writers in the industry. His work speaks for itself and lends to an achievement where each new release captures a new essence of his sound. The 1983 project titled “Back To The Front” is again one of his surprises where he takes pieces of his dance experience and ignites a new torch to carry. “Baby Gets High” is one of the releases from the project which is still one of the tracks which many has not received the club play but is a gem among jocks and collectors. This number is a night life stimulant with it light fuzzy sound and of course, Peter’s recognizable and mildly exciting vocal.
I have taken the 12” version of “Baby Gets High” and stripped as much of the rhythms that come into play for this ReStructure Mix. Added are a couple of new breaks and a bongo riff to dress up the new version.
