Angie Gold (Angelina Fiorina Kyte) is one of the high energy vocalists whom helped to bring the era to excitement. Her big dance floor hit “Eat You Up” from 1985 was a track that made dancers move to the threats of a disheartened romance in a new outline. The Passion label is the force behind the productions by Les Hunt and the piercing vocals by Ms. Gold. The same year she released “Time Bomb” which is another track that made dance floors go “boom”! It was the delicate approach that Angie takes to her delivery and those in a chorus can add the energy to the crescendo. She is always known for this style and is one of the most celebrated of it.
I have taken the 12’ vocal and instrumental of “Time Bomb” and reignited a ReStructure Mix using more of the instrumental to add to the fuse. There is build every so often to remind us of the power of Angie Gold.
