ReStructure Mix Update (11/10/22): “Open Your Heart” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Madonna

Madonna’s 1986 project titled “True Blue” was perhaps her most adorable in the synth-pop arena. “Open Your Heart” is an irresistible track that has the yearning and appealing love call as any of her recordings. The song is one of my favorites during the Madonna 80’s rein and gives me to this time how her timing in music has always been “on time” and “to the point”.

I have taken the 12” vocal and dub of “Open Your Heart” and rewired the energy for a more deep electronic synth experience. This ReStructure Mix uses more of the sequencers to create a foundation that gives the vocals a whirling place to exist.
