ReStructure Mix Update (11/6/22): “You Can Win If You Want” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Modern Talking

Modern Talking are Dieter Bohlen and Thomas Anders. Their music is perhaps one of the golden moments in dance music. Their sound utilizes heavy beat soften by a bass accompaniment which became the 80’s dance formula and magic. The sweetness of their songs is another lure to their talents and even though the themes may be quite simple they are delivered with a romantic edge on vocals. “You Can Win If You Want” comes from their 1985 project titled, “The 1st Album” – this one has their signature riff which is a chorus riff and a nice supportive tale of a love who ventures off to discover ones future. And even though the divide will be difficult there are the positive words for success.

I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental of “You Can Win Of You Want” and made use of the beautiful synth-pop track for this ReStructure Mix. Adding just a touch of new percussion and re-igniting pieces with a new arrangement.
