ReStructure Mix Update (7/4/23): “Arena” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Soccer

Soccer is a disco project from producer Tony Valor and consisted of Angelo Venuto, Carmello Venuto, Eve Arrio, Joe (Pepe) Tessuno, Lawrence Venuto, Sal Cruella, Susan Fredo and Vincent Venuto. The band has had several memorable hits including “Come And Get It On” from 1979 and “Give Me Your Love” from 1980. Their self-titled project included the instrumental track titled “Arena” which is a Latin-flavored composition with Flamenco guitars and brass horns serenaded throughout the arrangement. It is a nice production which plays the energy very mellow yet brings out the flare of a dance track.

I have taken the album version of “Arena” and reedited the track for this ReStructure Mix – paying homage to Mr. Tony Valor. The new beat foundation is hard driving and new bongo fills are a new element to pound out the energy for this hot number.
