New Atlantic is Cameron Saunders and Richard Lloyd – a rave band who released their big club track, “I Know” in 1991. The ambient/techno piece utilizes vocals from Candi Staton’s “You Got The Love” for the message entwined with the segments of hypnotic techno arrangement. It is one of the most recognizable tracks from this period of club music and also hails thanks to the power of Staton’s powerful vocal samples.
I have taken the 12” versions of “I Know” and reworked a new ReStructure Mix along with a new sample piece. There is added percussion to give the new outline a punch and also some new breaks inserted.
