Deskee (Derrick Crumpley) is a house artist who brought the recipe for dance floors of the early 90s. Throughout the mid-80s house music began as an alternative mix for pop-dance tracks which began a formula for the clubs to dance into another layer of music. This was created as a response to dance floors and club patrons so its message was easily felt and understood. “Kid Get Hyped” is an anthem for house music not only does our main man pay tribute to the genre - our producer and conductor is Westbam who began in the electronic alternative dance genre and is one of the creators who helped bring the music to its popularity. The pumping energy is what house music was all about - rejoice! A nice blend of house, new beat and alternative dance that is evident from each layer.
I have taken the 12” versions of “Kid Get Hyped” and applied more of the means for this ReStructure Mix. The guest spot by 80’s rap group Planet Patrol is given more of the energy and diverse sound it created for history.
