REISSUE: "The Morning After"/"To Love" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Maureen McGovern/John Williams

REISSUE: "The Morning After"/"To Love" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Maureen McGovern/John Williams

The seventies was a groovy place – lots of films, music and talent which emerged from the 60s and also a fades and sounds which marked periods of success. One of the greatest films of 1972 and film history was “The Poseidon Adventure” – from Irwin Allen who gave us great adventure television shows like “Lost In Space”. The music from the film was an excellent composition from John Williams which I have always loved.

I have taken a moment for this Special Seventies Edition and the Academy Award winning song from “The Poseidon Adventure” – “The Morning After – recorded by Maureen McGovern in 1973 and have done a mash up of an excerpt from the soundtrack titled “To Love” – which is a segment used in the dining room sequence prior to the disaster where Gene Hackman give a toast to love and Pamela Sue Martin gets down.

It is more of an atmospheric mix, but who knows? Pamela Sure Martin worked it!
