Tina Turner is one of the artists of the 60’s and 70’s whose energy seemed to never falter. Through a career in rock n’ roll, country, soul, and a dabble in disco she managed to pull upfront in the 80’s with her 1984 album “Private Dancer” made waves bigger than ever. A return to the stage brought respect and several pop and club hits during the 80’s and gave us more of Tina’s unique vocal delivery and a more sensitive edge. “What’s Love Got To Do With It” is the track which became an anthem for Tina’s life is one of the tracks which brings us a whole new side and along with “Two People” from 1986 displays a sensitive feel. Both were accepted well by fans and even today give a new side of long career and its shifting throughout time.

I have taken “What’s Love Got To Do With It” and “Two People” to create a ReStructure Mix using parts of these songs which outline this double pairing in a new way. Both were great songs for me and I enjoyed spinning them for early evening crowds and afterhours.
