REISSUE: “One Night Lover Man” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Lenore O’Malley

REISSUE: “One Night Lover Man” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Lenore O’Malley Lenore O’Malley is disco singer who released her first project in 1979 titled “First Be A Woman” – produced by Michaele/Lana and Paul Sebastian (who also produced Theo Vaness and Madleen Kane). The album is one of the last during the disco era with the Euro-disco sound and features a production which echoes that of Voyage and Alec R. Costandinos. “One Night Lover Man” is a single from the album which is a club record right from the start. It plays out with a nice guitar riff that flows into a defiant Lenore informing her male onlookers that she is out for love. It is a fun and bouncy track that I always found as a treasure that fit the essence of European club music. It is one of the nice parts of this project and gives Lenore a nice opportunity to play the club chanteuse in a clever way. I have taken the album version of “One Night Light Lover Man” and created a ReStructure Mix which gives the rhythm tracks more power with some added drum beats and new phasing effects. It is a lengthier version than the album and has a few segments that are placed to extend the energy.
