REISSUE: "Cheri" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Madleen Kane I can remember reading a quote from Madleen Kane during a 1978 interview where she stated, "People fall in love in discos listening to disco music." This was one of phrases that made most sense to me in my discovery of disco music years earlier. Ms. Kane was the voice of a whispery and sensual disco sound - very close to blue eyed disco of femmes. It worked very well. "Cheri" is apart of the "Forbidden Love" medley - I have taken the cut and pieced a new intro and arrangement to help it to stand on it's own. This is one of Kane's most beautiful pieces and with a great arrangement by Thor Baldursson. It was close to the European disco flair that was still mesmerizing not only dancers, but also audiophiles.
