REISSUE: “Touch Me” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Wish featuring Fonda Rae

REISSUE: “Touch Me” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Wish featuring Fonda Rae Wish is Greg Carmichael and Patrick Adams. A venture into a new sound of dance music during the early 80s when a transition to electronic dance was being formulated. A true New York flavor with a touch of the magic that this duo brought to disco in the 70s. On vocals we get a nice sensual treatment from Ms. Fonda Rae who lit a fire with her track “Deputy Of Love” with Don Armando's 2nd Avenue Rhumba Band in 1979 and “You’re Too Late” with Fantasy in 1980. The voice brings this powerhouse funk-vibe to several climatic moments. Quite delicious. I have taken the 12” single vocal and dub to recreate another moment to find that need which Ms. Rae begs so right for. More of the arrangement is re-segmented to give a new stage to this great production and performance by Fonda. This ReStructure is merely another layer of the groove in a new dance floor blend.
