ReStructure Mix Update (4/17/21) “The Look of Love” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – ABC

ABC is Martin Fry, David Palmer, David Robinson, Mark White, Stephen Singleton and Mark Lickley. After joining with producer Trevor Horn (Chromium, The Buggles, Yes and Frankie Goes To Hollywood) in 1982 the band became one of the most recognized sounds of the 80’s. Martin Fry taking the lead vocals in with a bold and unique style takes each number as if he were performing in 50’s nightclub as one of the brat-pack. “The Look of Love” is their single from the album “he Lexicon Of Love” and is a lush and orchestrated track with the electronic funk of artists like D-Train. A very nice blend of worlds which work incredibly well. The song was released with several 12” editions with various mixes and dissections of the incredible production.

I have taken the album, 12” and part 2 versions of “The Look of Love” and rewired the track with much of the orchestra alive and some dub-breaks and effects. The vocals are still intact but are broken into different segues of the new layout.
