REISSUE: "The Hills Of Kat Mandu" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Tantra It was strange how this fantastic album emerged in 1980 from Italian producer, Celso Valli. It created quite a stir. I can remember hearing it for the first time in a club and wondering, "What the heck was going on?" I was fortunate enough to have had a progressive club here in San Diego, "Mr. Dillons" with an outstanding deejay, Mike Duecker - he introduced a lot of great import material which was a necessity for the time. This ReStructure gives the 16 minute an edit and a mystical arrangement. "The Double Album" is a complete classic! Valli outdid himself with an incredible ensemble of musicians and studio vocalists. This LP should not be forgotten - it is an standard as a Love & Kisses (Alec R. Costandinos) production or Donna Summer LP in the realm of "disco" music.
