REISSUE: “Go Go Yellow Screen” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Digital Emotion Digital Emotion is a Dutch electronic dance group featuring Cickie De Beer, Jean François Colombo and Myrna Balrak. Produced by Adams & Fleisner (Geertjan Hessing, Aart Mol, Erwin van Prehn, Cees Bergman and Elmer Veerhoff also known as Cat Music on the Dutch dance label, Break Records. The early 80’s created a new flow of electronic productions following the disco era of full orchestral arrangements and layered band ensembles. The laid out groove was a hardcore keyboard with sequencers painting the rhythms. I have taken the 12” version of “Go Go Yellow Screen” and recreated a new soulful edition of this high-energy/electronic verse. Using pieces of Smokey Robinson and The Miracles soul classic to guide it.
