ReStructure Mix Update (4/26/22): “Sweet Drums” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Cerrone

Cerrone is a top icon in disco/dance music history. His influence has created many successful projects for others who have followed his work and also interpreted it in a new way. “Supernature” project from 1977 is the disco pillar which utilized rhythms and innovative electronics. The movement here is “Sweet Drums” which closes the side A of Cerrone’ s masterpiece.

I have taken the album segment of “Sweet Drums” and transformed it into a layer for Cerrone’s past disco-wanderlust. Pieces of his work are used in and over during this ReStructure Mix to pay homage to this talented man.
