From Andrea True Connection, George McCrae and Gloria Gaynor did Diamond have the opportunity to work his magic. A great composer and producer. His style is missed very much. This is his finale chapter in the trio of Bionic Boogie LPs – this came at the close of the disco peak – it was a darker sounding project, if not fitting enough. Although he is not referenced a\in the chorus ensemble, there are many, many traces of Luther Vandross’ majestic vocals. Fantastic guitar work!

Donna Summer was coming out of her music box - from the playful and sensual "Love To Love You Baby" LP which took the dance scene by storm, this second project produced by Giorgio Moroder and featured his Munich Machine ensemble as musicians. This wonderful and inspired LP is a great classic for Donna as well as dance floors. The keyboard arrangements and guitars and fantastic! I have remodeled house a bit with this ReStructure and helped Donna to join The Pussycat Dolls with a funky intro and closing. This one is for the Donna fans (as myself) who would lay in their rooms, douse the lights and put the "First Lady Of Love" on the turntable with eyes closed to hear every moan and note.

Jean Marc Cerrone moved into the disco realm with Euro-Disco in his blood. It wasn't until this project that all began to take note of the fine tuning which had occurred from his first solo-LP's "Love In 'C' Minor" and "Cerrone's Paradise". It took many by surprise - not only was there the full sided medley "Supernature" but the flip-side with the segued masterpieces, "Give Me Love" and "Love Is The Answer". The concept of "Supernature" worked with the peculating synthesizers rippling throughout the story. I have taken elements of the original mix and ReStructured them into a whole new movement. Either way the song still rings strong.

From her 1978 LP "Our Miss Brooks" - "After Dark" was also included on the soundtrack to "Thank God It's Friday". This is a track that will never run out of charm. It was memorizing from it's release. Simon Soussan produced and mixed by Bob Stone. Perfection. My only reason for attempting a ReStructure Mix was to take Pattie's classic onto my chopping block and have some fun. The percussion alone in this fabulous song is enough to make it a winner - and the bass line is a fantasy on the dance floor. Applause again goes to Pattie and her wonderful approach with this powerhouse tune.

Known as the theme to television's 1979 dance program, "Dance Fever" - this is the best as disco gets. Boris Midney created USA-European Connection in 1978 and broke all barriers of the disco arrangement. Taking Giorgio Moroder's steps even further by creating a wall of electronic keyboards fused with lush strings and horns - then sprinkling an adoring Philly-like ensemble. It was a dream come true for many of the time. This was the follow up LP from USA-European Connection and was just as powerful - many of the cuts today are hard-core classics. Midney made electronics work for him by creating a stop-and-go arrangement which made dance floors ready for a funky bongo riff to appear from cascading strings to gliding keyboards. "Boogie Motion" is transformed here into a ReStructure using those beautiful vocals (by Xo-Xo - who are most likely the vocalists from his first LP) and a few more of those pulsating synthesizer effects.

Most dance music had shifted to a lower BPM and more soulful sound - removing many of the strings and horn arrangements that made disco music complete. Bill Motley was focused on producing artists and projects utilizing these classic elements. His many success stories are now a bit part of disco music's history. "Cruisin' The Streets" was an EP containing the title track and a Diana Ross Medley featuring Cynthia Manley on vocals - the song instantly became a dance floor hit and helped to revive the sound of disco music that many were hoping had not passed. I have taken the medley and remove "Remember Me" from the medley - "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" has always been the favorite of the medley and although it is flawless I have taken the opening part of medley and placed it alone with a ReStructure Mix. Besides with Cynthia's fabulous vocals it could not go wrong.
