M is a synth-pop project from Robin Scott. Their big hit “Pop Muzak” from 1979 became one of the early dance groups to direct their sound with a light nu-wave edge. “New York, London, Paris, Munich” is their album which features their second single, “Moonlight and Muzak”. Another full-on electronic arrangement with a slight touch of romance where the moody voice informs us of a night which began a new chapter of love. The keyboards play out as a series of riffs guide us through the sweet chorus which informs us of just how serious this romance is.
I have taken the 12” version of “Moonlight and Muzak” and rewired this piece for a new ReStructure Mix. A serious of drum tracks are added to bring the light synthesized beats a level up and more of the guitar segments are pieced in new locations.
