ReStructure Mix Update (10/6/23): “Love In Motion” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – 1000 Ohms

1000 Ohms is a Belgium new-wave band consisting of Frank Van Bogaert, Johan Van Herck, Koen Van Assche and Mien Van Bogaert as members. Their 1984 self-produced single “Love In Motion” is a syncopated pop track which pounds out sequencer bass patterns in a percolating manner and along with their unique left-field vocal this one becomes of interest to dance floors of the time and music enthusiasts. It is a definite track that questions the motivations we take when in love and the possible interferences. It is one of the alternative sounds with a hardcore high energy electronic feel covered with that 80’s vocal.

I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental version of “Love In Motion” and worked on giving this fantastic song a ReStructure Mix with some new additives. A heavy drum track and some new loops from the original provide a new layout and attack on this track.
